CAS California County Claims

As Carol has mentioned given the huge dataset for California, we are going to
claim California counties progressively. As a reminder, since CAS started
georeferencing prior to the gazetteer, we have already claimed CAS records
for California State. Thus any subsequent claims for California counties
should delete CAS (and MVZ) records from the Herpnet gazetteer (which should
be welcomed relief since that drops the total number of localities from over
80k to 30k).

 

In addition to our records, CAS claims Modoc and Lassen Cos.
