hey brad
I checked out the numbers to go with claims for So. Cal
(taking out the CAS and MVZ localities, since these are already being done)
with these counties it is:
Imperial, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernadino, Santa
Barbara, San Diego, San Luis Obispo and Ventura
19811 localities
with just these:
Riverside, Orange, Imperial, and San Diego
13971 localities
The latter seems more do-able. You guys are getting 12,720 in cash for a
GRA, at 12 bucks an hour this leaves you 1060 hours of georeferencing.
Our average rate is 12 an hour for the US (but can be faster) so 13.971
localities would take about 1164 hours. (plus some locales are already
done by Fisher).
So I think that the latter 4 counties are really all you can claim, and
then go from there if you finish early.
If that sounds good, you can go ahead and send an email to the listserv
listserv <HERPNET at LISTSERV.NHM.KU.EDU>
saying that you are claiming those 4 counties in California.
Either MVZ or LACM can do the rest of the So. Cal. locales.
Does that sound good?
