Carol,
Richard Pyle will be sending you everything that we got georeferenced for Papua New Guinea, Indonesian Papua, and Hawaii. Kathleen Igeta and I did what we could last fiscal year on funds that were scrounged up on this end. We have no resources to continue this fiscal year. Hawaii is pretty much completed by Kathleen, but New Guinea still has a lot more to go. Sorry we couldn't do more.

Subject: [HERPNET] Send Finished Georeferenced Files Back
Dear Participating Institutions
Please start sending your finished georeferenced files back SOON to me at
either:
atrox at berkeley.edu
or
crotalustx at hotmail.com
We need to receive any files you have finished sooner rather than later, as
we are doing some basic verification here at UCB and we will post them for
you to repatriate into your databases. We will be making a new page for the
website where institutions can download zipfiles of their finished
georeferenced records. These files will be password protected so only you
can download your institutions files.
Several institutions have finished much of their georeferenced files for
everyone (thanks KU, MCZ, CAS, SDNHM, MVZ) and have sent them back to me.
These countries/states that are finished and verified (Argentina, Belize,
Honduras, Hungary, Kansas, Maine, Nevadad, Puerto Rico, Romania, Ukraine,
Uzbekistan, Vermont) will be posted for each institution in the next few weeks.
Thanks to all institutions and to anyone who is georeferencing now, and send
any files that you have finished back, instead of waiting until all of your
claims are done.
Cheers,
Carol
