18 collections now on Portal

We now have 18 collections online on the portal, with the James R.
Slater Museum in Puget Sound just added.
In addition,  Bishop Museum, CAS, MVZ, MCZ, MSU, TCWC, Alberta, SDNHM,
LACM, University of Colorado, KU, ROM, UTEP, UNAM, LSU, INHS, and FMNH
can be searched at
http://herpnet.digir.net/pres/PresentationServlet?action=home

New mapping functions have been added and can be viewed if you search on
a specimen and georeferenced localities come up in the search. For
example, search on Bufo boreas for all institutions, choosing a record
limit of 3500 at the bottom of the page. Then click "Submit Query".

Click on the "View Map" button when the records become available to see
a distribution of records for Bufo boreas at CAS, MVZ, and CU. When more
georeferenced records are updated at institutions, then more museums
will appear on the mapping page.
