    International Organization for Plant Information (IOPI)
    =======================================================

    The first objective of IOPI is to:

    1) develop a database of botanical datasources worldwide,
    2) coordinate a checklist of vascular plants of the world, and
    3) make these accessible to the user community.

    You are invited to attend an informational meeting regarding IOPI,
    its mission, progress, and future.

    From Baltimore-Washington Parkway, proceed west on Powdermill Road
    ca 1.5 miles to Vistor's Center.

    The purpose of this meeting is to understand the global botanical
    data needs of the user. This discussion will be hosted by the
    Agricultural Research Service and the Soil Conservation Service.
