Subject: Up-date on BIN21 and new Proceedings distribution list

                      BIN21 DISTRIBUTION

It may be useful to provide the list of distributers of the BIN
Workshop Proceedings once more, since there have been some
changes and also some people missed reading the addresses.
Please remember that the Proceedings are heavy and distributers
may request postage reimbursement.

UNESCO (via Dr E Da Silva) have kindly taken over the
distribution of some 500 copies of the Proceedings to the UNESCO
MIRCEN network and people associated with the Diversitas
programme. For this we are very grateful.

OTHER NEWS:

Steps are being taken to extend the Technical Working Group to
include active biodiversity internet groups. Details of the
expanded group will be posted to the List in due course.

The recommendations of the workshop are to be reported to the
following biodiversity conferences (programmes available from
barbara at biostrat.demon.co.uk on request):

Intellectual property, indigenous cultures and biodiversity
conservation. St Anne's College, Oxford, UK, May 14th 1993

Norway/UNEP Expert Conference on Biodiversity. Trondheim, Norway,
May 24-28th, 1993

IUBS, Institute of Biology meeting, May 20th, London, UK, May
20th 1993.
