Naomi Pierce at the Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University,

Department of Entomology
The Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University invites
applications for a Curatorial Associate in Entomology. The successful
candidate will be responsible for the administration of the collections,
including personnel management and collection maintenance. He/she will
work with the curators on planning and implementing long-term goals for the
collections, particularly in the development of databases to make the
collections accessible to the scientific community for research and
information purposes. The position will also entail daily supervision of
collection staff, and preparation of budgets and grant proposals related to
Qualifications which we seek include: M.Sc. or equivalent experience in
systematic entomology, knowledge of current curatorial methods, solid
understanding of organization and implementation of computerized database
systems and their applications to museum collections, previous curatorial
experience, and demonstrated competence in an administrative position.
