John J. and Anna H. Gallagher Fellowship

The Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, internationally
recognized as a center for research systematics and evolution of
animals and plants, is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for
original postdoctoral research on the systematics of any
microscopic invertebrate organism. The project must be based at
the Academy, although field work and visits to other museum
collections are encouraged, and the scope should be narrow enough
to permit completion during the one year period of the
non-renewable fellowship. The research focus must be on
systematics but may include ecological, behavioral,
physiological, biochemical, genetic, or developmental components.
Applications will be accepted until a suitable candidate is
identified. An early starting date is preferred. Send CV,
statement of research interests, description of the project, and
the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of three references
to: Chairman, Gallagher Fellowship Committee, Academy of Natural
Sciences, 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA
19103-1195. The Academy is an Affirmative Action/Equal
Opportunity Employer.
