Dear TAXACOM netters,

On April 1st, WFCC World Data Centre for Micoorganisms (WDCM) moved from
the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN) to the National
Institute of Genetics. WFCC stands for the World Federation for Culture
Collections that collect, evaluate, maintain and distribute microbes
(virus, bacteria, fungi, cells, gene libraries and etc) and WDCM maintains
databases on culture collections and theire holdings. WDCM also develps
such application as the Agent for Hunting Microbial Information in INTERNET
(AHMII), with which you can dispatch a query to multiple databases
distributed in INTERNET and get replies in one package.

The new address of WDCM is:
     Postal address;
       Center for Information Biology
       National Insitute of Genetics
       1111 Yata, Mishima
       Shizuoka 411

By the way, CIB(Center for Information Biology) is also a member of the
international nucleotide sequence data banks DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank.

Would you please change the bookmark and the link of WDCM to the new address ?

Sincerely yours,
  Prof. Hideaki SUGAWARA
