Probably a dozen other people have confirmed this, but the images are
NOT of Gelsemium. It does indeed look like a Rhododendron.
That's what you get for choosing Gelsemium. Y'all need to pick
something unmistakable, like bluebonnets.
Blooming in Central Texas this week: elm, spring beauty,
crow poison, chickweed, dead nettle and shepherd's purse.
Waiting for bluets!
