Aspersette

It seems that Aspersette is probably a mispelling of Esparsette which most
replies said was Onobrychis, with O. viciifolia being the most common
species used for forage. Another suggestion was Hedysarum , a member of
Leguminosae, or Hedysarum coronarium. Both genera are in the Fabaceae.
Perhaps we grass people are a little too quick to assume that all forage
species worth noting are grasses :).
