     Director
     NSW Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust

     The Royal Botanic Gardens is a distinguished centre for horticulture, for
     botanical, ecological and horticultural research and for plant related
     education and community programs.  The Trust is responsible for three
     major botanic gardens at Sydney, Mount Tomah, and Mount Annan.  The Sydney
     site at historic Farm Cove also includes the Sydney Domain and will be a
     gateway site for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

     Essential:  Outstanding achievement in management at a senior executive
     level.  Qualifications and experience in the sciences or horticultural
     studies relevant to the management of a multidisciplined organisation.
     Superior liaison, consultative and communication skills with interest
     groups, business leaders and the government.  Proven ability to provide
     strategic advice and sound judgement.  Ability to lead the agency and meet
     the challenges facing it, and to communicate its vision to a wide range of
     interest groups.  Ability to develop a harmonious working environment in an
     agency with a diverse skill base.  Commitment to ethical work practices and
     employment equity.

     An attractive package within the range $130,390 pa to $141 995 pa and
     contract up to five (5) years will be negotiated.  An information package
