Dear Taxacomers,
=20
A project, started recently within the Indonesian Institute of Sciences, =
is commencing work to set up a National Biodiversity Information Network =
(NBIN) for Indonesia.
=20
We are seeking to hook up with data providers who have taxonomic =
databases relevant to Indonesia. If any are interested, I would be =
grateful for information on:
=20
1. What sort of taxonomic data are available?
2. What metadata standards (if any) do you use? Can an example be =
provided?=20
3. Do you have active links between your data and a GIS facility?=20
=20
All answers to this address! =20
=20
All best,
=20
Jim
