Where is Red Bay?

I have a question for herbarium curators. A WWW search for
distribution info on Persea borbonia ('Red Bay' - Lauraceae) produces
three maps with different perspectives. The USDA 'Plants' map
http://plants.usda.gov/plants/fr_mapgen.cgi?symbol=PEBO
indicates: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North
Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas
whereas the Flora North America map
http://www.fna.org/Libraries/plib/WWW/M17801273.html
adds Arkansas "Ala., Ark., Fla., Ga., La., Miss., N.C., S.C., Tex."
and the MIPS Digital Checklist
http://www.mip.berkeley.edu/query_forms/browse_checklist.html
adds several States to the North:
"Alabama , Arkansas , Delaware , Florida , Georgia , Louisiana ,
Maryland , Mississippi , New York , North Carolina , South Carolina ,
Texas , Virginia"
So, does anyone have 'State record' vouchers for this species from
Arkansas, Delaware, Maryland, New York, and Virginia or other info
indicating that non-cultivated populations occur in these States?
Thanks much,
