Is there a simple program for producing county dot maps?

The Macintosh species distribution mapping program 'RangeMapper'
can handle county dot maps (for the 48 contiguous U.S. states, not for
Canada) as well as direct lat/long plotting anywhere. The program is
simple (in the sense of 'easy to use') but not free. Contact Tundra
Vole Software for info on RangeMapper 2.3, at: <tvole at polarnet.com>.
