Missouri Botanical Garden seeks Senior Herbarium Assistant to join the
Research Division.

The selected individual will expedite and facilitate identification,
labeling and storage of plant material entering the herbarium; assist
curators with daily management of research projects; provide editorial
assistance in writing of scientific reports and proposals; and perform
various research activities according to the nature of the project.
Position may include field work and assist researchers in gathering
bibliographic and electronic data.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in botany or related field;
Master's degree preferred.  Previous herbarium and field experience also
preferred.  Knowledge of computer database management and familiarity with
botanical literature required.  Reading knowledge of foreign language
helpful.
