VISITING RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP
OF UP TO 3 MONTHS' TENURE

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney (Australia) invites applications for =
this=20
Research Fellowship for the financial year 1999/2000.  Funds of up to $=
Aus15 000
are available to cover one return economy airfare, accommodation and li=
ving=20
expenses for a period of up to 3 months.  The Fellowship must be taken =
up and=20
completed between 1 July 1999 and 30 June 2000.

The Fellowship is available for a research project contributing to one =
of the=20
following programs at the Royal Botanic Gardens:=20

=B7 systematics of vascular or non-vascular plants;=20
=B7 ecology of NSW plant species or plant communities; or=20
=B7 horticultural research. =20

The work should involve collaboration with a staff member of the Royal =
Botanic=20
Gardens.

Applicants should send a proposed research program, curriculum vitae an=

names of three referees to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Mrs Macquaries Ro=

Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia by 30 October 1998.  Applications will be a=
