Dear Taxacomers,

I am interested in information about the distribution of Puccinia scillae
Linh. which grows on the leaves of Scilla bifolia and S. sibirica.
According to M=FCller (Ceska Mykologie, 1977) this rust species is=20
known from South and Central Europe, as well as from the southern=20
regions of the European part of Russia. =09
=09In the last spring and also during the last two months I have
found it from different localities in Estonia. It occurs in abundance,
with the dark brown mass of teliospores covering big areas on the infected=
=20
leaves which often become wrinkled.
=09I would appreciate receiving any kind of information of the=20
distribution of this rust, either someones own observations or=20
literature data which I might have missed.=20

Thanking you in advance,

Kadri P=F5ldmaa
