Dr. Thomas Thurmond
([mailto:Thomas_M_Thurmond/FL/APHIS/USDA%USDA at aphis.usda.gov]) asked me to
inquire whether anyone has any record of Bromus pectinatus growing in the
U.S. - Mexico would also be of interest. It is an Old World species that
seems to merit "KEEP OUT" status. (More formally -placement on the USDA's
list of noxious weeds). If the record is from the North American
continent, please also let me know as we should include it in the Manual
of Grasses for North America. At present, we have no record of it
occurring the Manual region.

Thank you.
