(Réacheminé) Poisoned herbarium specimens

Hello All of you,

I said yesterday :

> Is there a mean to determine if a dried specimen has been submitted to
> poisoning using toxic stuff as mercuric chloride or DDT.  There is not
> indication of such treatment on the sheet but I have some doubt about
> the safeness of these specimens.

I will be away for the next two weeks but I will post a summary of replies
