Ph.D. funding - Setaria

Funding is available for a Ph.D. student to undertake a molecular phylogeny
of the genus Setaria, and a taxonomic revision of the Old World species.
Start date is mid-August, 2002.  A strong background in botany is required,
and interest in combining field and lab work is important.  Previous
research experience and graduate-level course work are preferred.  The
student will join an active and international lab investigating molecular
systematics, developmental morphology, and evolution of development (see
the lab website at
