Postdoctoral position - Molecular systematics/myxomycetes

I have been asked by a colleague to post the following announcement:


 A postdoctoral research position to study molecular systematics and
population structure in myxomycetes is available beginning January 2002, in
the Department of Biology at Fairmont State College in West Virginia.  This
two-year position is funded by a grant from the National Science
Foundation.  The individual selected must have a Ph.D. in Molecular
Biology, Microbiology, or Mycology and at least some laboratory experience
in applying the techniques of molecular biology to the study of
microorganisms.  Opportunities will exist for fieldwork in the Neotropics.
