LECTURESHIP IN EVOLUTIONARY BIOLOGY

Division of Environmental & Evolutionary Biology
School of Biology, University of St Andrews, Scotland, UK

Salary:  20,470-24,435 GBP pa

Closing date for applications: 6 September 2002

Applicants should have a strong research record in any area of Evolutionary
Biology, to join a newly consolidated cognate unit housed within the Sir
Harold Mitchell Building (Prof T Meagher, Dr R Abbott, Dr J Graves, Dr J
Kinghorn, Prof M Ritchie and Dr A Tobin).

Candidates whose research addresses such topical areas as evolutionary
genomics, evolutionary development, phylogenetic analysis, molecular
evolution or evolutionary theory are particularly encouraged to apply. The
ability to contribute to undergraduate teaching in plant biology would be
an advantage.
