Question for botanists working on Asteraceae.

I was asked by an editor to check a fact--
"Does flowering pyrethrum have heavy, waxy pollen that is not carried by
the wind?"

The article that the editor was checking on is about allergens in the
southeastern US--specifically Oxford, MS.  I've checked out the
Tanacetum/Pyrethurm/Chrysanthemum nomenclature, but I would like an answer
from someone more experienced with the group.  Thanks....
