Strange bird in Montrose, Colorado

Jim,
     Looks like a chickadee (genus Parus).  Perhaps a black-capped chickadee
with some uncommon coloration pattern.  It almost looks like it could be a
hybrid between P. atricapillus with P. hudsonicus (or even P. rufescens).
