The author and year would certainly give these data more accuracy but you
should be aware that for specimen data if the material is misidentified this
may give it false sense of accuracy. The name of the determiner and the
source of the determination (flora or monograph used) is equally as
important for interpreting the collection in the absence of a
re-examination.
