I have been trying locate a definitive paper(s) on the evolution of
ovary reduction in birds or at least a comparative study of the female
reproductive anatomy of birds. Aside from scattered descriptive works I
have not succeeded. If anyone can provide a citation that covers this
topic I would be very appreciative.
