Sent the following to Susan Farmer in reply to her question, and thought it
useful to share with the List.

Here's an example from a Draft FOC treatment on the web.
http://flora.huh.harvard.edu/china/mss/volume22/htm_15_Centotheceae_Thysanolaeneae.htm##Tribe%2015/1.%20Thysanolaeneae

Later after finalizing the FOC treatments for publication, Hong Song (MO)
parses the indented keys into the eFloras MySQL database, and converts the
indented keys into bracketted keys for users browsing the FOC treatments
on-line, e.g.,

Trillium
http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=133668

Paris
http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=124055

Also, Susan shared a DELTA dataset with us which Hong Song imported into
ActKey - a web-based interactive key program:

Sincerely,

Anthony R. Brach
