I think that Linnaeus himself is not type specimen. Because he stated
"nosce te ipsum (confirm you for yourself)" in Systema Naturae ed.1 and
continued ed. So he suggested to exclude Linnaeus himself as type. His
statement was indirectly effective at the starting point of the animal names
