The National Museum of Natural History Naturalis, Leiden (in short Naturalis) has published the report 'Naturalis Exploring Biodiversity' (R. de Jong editor).
It is available as pdf online: http://www.naturalis.nl/sites/naturalis.en/contents/i000278/fmt%20binnenw.pdf
If you don't want to open the pdf immediately in your browser, you can also go to our website www.naturalis.nl and follow Science > Research programmes > Fauna Malesiana Terrestrica, the link to the pdf is at the bottom of the page.
Our museum has a long-standing commitment to study the biodiversity of Southeast Asia, including fieldwork, and taxonomic and biogeographic studies. This report describes our activities with regard to the terrestrial fauna of Southeast Asia during the last thirty years. It includes a list of publications resulting from these studies, as well as a list of new taxa described. Please note that, subtracting holidays, an average of almost one new species per week has been described during this period. Perhaps it even tells more about the incompleteness of the knowledge of the terrestrial fauna than about our efforts.
