And most strongly to be condemned are any attempts, such as the PhyloCode,
that seek to tie "premature cladification" (I like that phrase) to our
system of nomenclature.  The massive synonymies caused by old-timers like
Rafinesque will be minuscule compared to the synonymy that will accumulate
over the coming decades if this misbegotten travesty is allowed to flourish.
