Not exactly true--PEP carboxylase does the job much better and is the
basis of CAM and C4 photosynthesis, but it has no metabolic hooks to the
Calvin cycle, so all it can do is store CO2 to later overwhelm RuBisCO
(following the employment model, PEP carboxylase is the super-efficient
administrative assistant to the boss's nephew, keeping his inbox full).
