VACANT PLACES ON LINNAEUS COURSE:

Uppsala University is giving a net-based, international course on Carl
Linnaeus' life and sciences, including his many apostles and their travels
all over the world. The course started today (Monday September 12), but
there are a few vacancies and it is still possible to register if you or
any of your students, colleagues, friends or family would like to learn
more about Carl Linnaeus and the 18th century Natural Sciences. Course
literature is The Compleat Naturalist – A life of Linnaeus by Wilfrid Blunt
(2001 or later editions), and plenty of extra material on the course pages
that is only accessible for the students.
