For those interested I have posted a pdf copy of my 2005 article "Ape
biogeography" at http://www.sciencebuff.org/grehan_publications.php


It's focused on those hominoids that comprise elements of a
human-orangutan clade rather than all apes in general. It's also fairly
superficial and anticipates a more developed paper in the future. It is
significant, in my opinion, as the first account of hominid origins that
lies outside the hegemony of dispersalism.
