You need to run the portable version on the Intel Mac. If you
purchased the old Mac version you can email Sinauer and tell them
when you purchased it, order number etc and they'll send you a user
name and password to get the portable version.

Have a look at this link: http://www.sinauer.com/detail.php?

It says near the bottom of that page what to do. I purchased beta 4
in about 1999 or 2000, and I emailed them last year and they gave me
the portable version for my Intel Mac. Dave Swofford has put a few
emails on the Paup help list saying that a GUI Intel version will be
available 'soon' but the last one of them was probably a year ago
from memory...

The portable version takes a little getting used to if you've only
used the GUI version before, but I prefer it now as I can just cut
and paste the commands into the batch file each time and run them.
Printing trees has to be done with TreeView, but that works OK too...

Cheers, David.
