Dear All,
The Electronic Atlas of the Plants of British Columbia shows Saxifraga
tischii as a synonym of Saxifraga rufidula (link below). However, most
databases still show S. tischii as a good species based on morphological
differences (unfortunately NCBI shows no molecular sequences for S.
tischii). Anyone have any opinions on whether they are conspecific or not?
Perhaps S. tischii is a good species, but only occurs in Washington State
(not also in British Columbia as was once thought)?
