I think we have a misunderstanding here. When talking about DC I did not mean
   <meta name="DC.language" content="en-GB" />
but
   <meta name="DC.subject" xml:lang="en-GB" content="daisy" />
   <meta name="DC.subject" xml:lang="zxx-taxon" content="Bellis perennis" />
