MASTER COURSE STARTING IN JANUARY!

Uppsala University, Sweden is giving an international course on
Diversity and Evolution of Plants 15 hp

Diversity and Evolution of Plants is the course where you will learn 
more about the fantastic diversity and variety of plants, algae and 
fungi. We will study plant diversity from a phylogenetic perspective and 
thoroughly discuss issues like molecular systematics, tropical utility 
plants, threatened diversity, ”evolution at work” and concepts like 
endemic and alien plants. The course includes a field trip to Tenerife 
largely subsidized by the department. There you will start your own 
project that will be completed in Uppsala with a Ph D student or 
researcher from the Department of Systematic Biology as supervisor.

Note that the course is free of charge! There are no tuition fees and no 
registration fee. The Tenerife excusrison is subsidized by the 
department (the students are required to pay only 300 EUR).
