[Taxacom] Ideal size for a herbarium

There is no hard and fast rule for the size of herbarium. There are huge herbaria like Kew, Edinburgh, New York, Washington DC (NA) holding millions of specimens in a large number of rooms or a few large-sized halls. One can plan and design a herbarium depending on the size of collections that one wants to store. A herbarium can be a compact if one installs compactors as in Geneva.
