... not to forget Wikispecies with its category of disambiguation pages ...

Not sure why all this interest in hemihoms when we don't even have a complete list of true (within Code) homonyms ...

And people have failed to mention the Catalogue of Life as another source of names. It does not include all synonyms but is nevertheless a useful source.
