[Taxacom] Examples for Eurasian-Australian Distribution

Hi Oliver,
     The only fossil species of this genus is apparently Hygrobia
cretzschmari (Heyden and Heyden, 1866).  I assume this is probably the
Miocene record to which Benton was referring.
      Also, last night I saw reference to "Hygrobia sp." having been
collected in Lake Bolshoy, Russia.  I guess they weren't sure if it was
the same species as the one in central and western Europe.
