Dear colleagues,

I am happy to announce that the international journal *Insect Systematics &
Evolution* (http://www.brill.nl/ise) will now occasionally publish subject
issues, which are focused on a selected taxonomic group of insects/arachnids
but may also be targeted on new methods or other aspects of insect
systematics.

The current issue (41/2) is the first subject issue of *Insect Systematics &
Evolution* and focuses on Hemipteran systematics. It comprises two
systematic articles on assassin
bugs (Reduviidae) and two on semiaquatic bugs (Gerromorpha). The content of
the current issue (and all 41 volumes of ISE) can be found here:

http://brill.publisher.ingentaconnect.com/content/brill/ise

The 2009 impact factor for ISE has gone up and is now 0.875. Submissions are
welcome any time under: http://www.editorialmanager.com/ise/

The next subject issue will be on " Fossil insects from the Cretaceous" and
the deadline for submissions to this issue is 31 Oct 2010. Papers with a
strong phylogenetic or palaeoecological component are especially welcome.

I look forward to your submissions.

Best wishes,

Lars
