My apologies for casting aspersions, they were intended only to be instructional, but actually I did check before typing that line, of course...

http://130.225.211.25/diptera/names/FMPro?-db=names.fp5&-format=nomenclatordetail.html&-lay=www%20detail&-sortfield=unsorted&Name=Culex%20jalisco&-max=10&-recid=12683823&-find=

gives family Tabanidae for that species (Culex jalisco Berlin, 1974), while others are correctly in Culicidae - sorry.

Or maybe that is an old record somehow, but it still tallies with what is in CoL 2010 online version...
