Applications are invited for the Professorship of Plant Systematics and
Evolution from senior academics whose work falls within the general field of
the Professorship to take up appointment as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will also be the Director of the Cambridge
University Botanic Garden, one of the UK's finest collections of living
plants, which provides an excellent opportunity to develop research and
teaching programmes that are relevant to taxonomy, systematics and evolution
as well as conservation and biodiversity. There will also be the opportunity
for the Director to be the Curator of the University Herbarium.
