Hocam merhabalar,
 
evet yazışamıyoruz maalesef.
 
Irana bir kaç kez gittim ama size bu bitkinin ismi hakkında bir bilgi veremeyeceğim. Çünkü şimdi Londra'daym. Üç ay EMBO bursu ile Jodrell Laboratuvarında (Kew) Crataegus'ların moleküler sistematiğini çalışıyorum. Ama zaman sorun değilse Iran'dan bir arkadaşa sorabilirim. 
 
Bugün DNA ekstraksiyonu sırasında örneğin birinin rengi diğerlerinden çok çok farklıydı. DNA iplikçiği ethanol sonrası ortaya çıktı ama çözeltinin rengi çok farklıydı. Ancak bitki başka bir cinsin değil Crataegus türüydü. Aklıma siz geldiniz. Keşke Ihsan bey burda olsa da bu durumu yorumlasaydı diye. Hatta fotografını da çektim renk farkının.
 
Kıbrıs koşullarını az çok tahmin ediyorum. Bu yaz ben yine Kıbrrıs'a arazi çalışması için geldim. Üç günlük kısa bir araziydi.
