Yes, thanks Ken for suggestion of yet another order of insects (Isoptera), after Hemiptera, Coleoptera, Thysanoptera, Diptera, Lepidoptera and Hymenoptera!
 
my gut feeling is that something in that photo isn't what it seems, and it may not be an insect at all, but I can't prove it ...
