I am a little surprised that the botanists/mycologists are charging ahead
with e-publication without, it seems, really knowing what they are doing!

It is slightly uncomfortable not to have the definitive text of a rule
now in force, but
a) this is nothing new, it happens after every Congress.
b) the Editorial Committee is at liberty to adjust the text adopted
by the Congress, but this is supposed to be restricted to editorial
adjustments only.
c) the text of the rule as adopted by the Congress was prepared
very intensively over a long period and discussed extensively
at the Congress. It is not to be expected in this case that there
will be any significant change between the adopted text and the
final text, so effectively there is not much uncertainty.

Besides, an essential part of any scientific training is how to
deal with the unknown, so this should not raise any sweat.
