[Taxacom] Kickstarter for Taxonomy

This is an example of my interest. [I do know that Frank and Doug and all
the other Commissioners are not owners, Trustees or employees of the
Trust, just to be clear]

Going to the Website Frank cited, there is the option of looking at the
Trustee list, each of which is then linked, but when one tries to go
there, Access is Denied.

Next, going to the Articles of Association also linked on that page, I
find that Trustees are elected by Members, there are various categories of
Members, anyone can apply to be a Member, but there is no place on that
site to become a Member, nor any explanation of what classes of Members
there are.

There must be a meeting of Members at least every 15 months. A quorum is
5 members or 10/th the Membership, whichever is greater. How many Members
are there? Has anyone on this list been to such a Meeting? At that
meeting Trustees are elected. No idea what the nomination process is?

It is clearly stated that there may be as few as 3 Trustees, or as many as
12. The current list includes 24. Interesting.... Further one of them
may be the Trust-Employed Secretary, but there is nowhere I can find that
says who that is, and if they are Staff?

Minutes must be kept of all meetings, but no minutes seem to be posted.
Are they published somewhere? There is no evidence of a budget anywhere I
can find.

I know some of the employees of the Trust, and they are underpaid and
overworked, but a Charity, ANY Charity that is asking for funds because it
is insolvent might want to generate more confidence in potential donors.
