Hi Taxacom,

You may be interested in this preprint I wrote on the discoverability of content, particularly phylogenetic content in PLOS ONE & Zootaxa:

Mounce R. (2015) Dark Research: information content in many modern research papers is not easily discoverable online. PeerJ PrePrints 3:e773v1 http://dx.doi.org/10.7287/peerj.preprints.773v1

This should be of particular concern to those who have published, or will publish in Zootaxa.
I'm concerned for the discoverability of content in this journal; it doesnt appear to be as good as it could be e.g. at PLOS ONE.

Feedback welcome.

Best,

Ross
