Systematic Botanist [2 positions], National Herbarium of New South Wales, Botanic Gardens & Centennial Parklands, Sydney, Australia

We are seeking TWO Systematic Botanists to join the  Science and Conservation Branch of the Botanic Gardens & Centennial Parklands, Sydney, Australia. The Branch manages the National Herbarium of New South Wales which is the major centre for taxonomic and systematic botanical research in New South Wales and the collection of approximately 1.2 million plant specimens is one of the largest and most important in Australia.

Each Systematic Botanist will develop and manage an active, productive research program on the systematics of selected vascular or non-vascular plant groups, including preparing and publishing outcomes in various media, as well as managing the scientific curation of selected plant groups in the Herbarium and providing identification advice to clients.
